Reinforcement of road surface

F.R.P. meshes manufactured by FIBRE NET are also successfully used as a reinforcement of road surfaces with improved mechanical characteristics and useful life, and greater stiffness and load distribution capacity.

Laying and rolling a road surface reinforced with F.R.P. nets are fast and easy operations, and standard tools only are required.

When a road surface must be milled, F.R.P. reinforcements will not obstruct nor damage the machinery, unlike the traditional metal nets.

In the event that a F.R.P. net accidentally emerges off the road surface, it will not hinder safety conditions for the vehicles, unlike the traditional metal systems.

Thanks to their radio-transparency, F.R.P. nets are ideally used in electronic toll collection areas on motorways or with any other monitoring and traffic-controlling system, as they do not interfere with any electronic equipments. Radio-transparency also guarantees that the mesh does not disturb any other detectors found on the road.
